Carol Harding- Practice Management Consultant & Director
Carol Harding is the owner and director of Aspire Medical Practice Management. Carol is an AAPM Fellow, a qualified industry trainer and an accreditation co-surveyor with over 20 years of experience working in the general practice sector. Carol managed a large multisite general practice for over 11 years before starting her consultancy business. She has set up multiple new GP clinics.
Passionate about helping practices develop and improve, Carol has a particular interest in quality improvement, accreditation and supporting practices to make improvements to achieve their goals. Carol is experienced in recruiting and training all support staff, setting up practice management software and creating customised documentation such as policy and procedure manuals (including online platforms), employment documentation and business continuity plans. Carol provides operational support to GP practices, helping them to establish and maintain compliant work practices and manage risks.
Having trained many practice staff over the past decade, Carol has a current training and assessment qualification and has worked as a lead trainer, assessor and mentor in the Cert III Business Administration (Med), qualification. She delivered online triage workshops for non-clinical staff, to students across Australia.
Earlier in her career as a medical scientist and research technician, she honed analytical and research skills, which have proven useful in her current role as a practice manager/consultant.

Bookkeeping experience of over 20 years and use of both MYOB and Xero.
Experience implementing quality improvement processes, such as adopting innovative technologies to enhance the patient experience and improve operational efficiencies.
Proud to have been a mentor in the AAPM Mentoring Program 2017 to 2019 supporting and developing less experienced practice managers.
